Every airline builds a reputation over time. This however cannot be said for Spirit Airlines. The reputation of Spirit has been fluctuating from average to pathetic over the years but we have some stories from passengers who have nothing but good things to say about this low-cost airline.

What airlines can learn from passengers’ feedback is which area they seem to be lacking in and which area is doing good. Spirit has been the pawn of airline memes all over the internet but some things have seen a major improvement in the past two years. 1.      Planes are cleaner and in better condition than what’s expected

That’s right. One of the pet peeves of passengers of low-cost airlines is the sanitation issue. They expect that the plane would be dirty but surprisingly, passengers who have flown with Spirit have found that the planes are really clean to the point of spotless.

2.      Passengers call Spirit a no-nonsense no-frills airline

Spirit is a low -cost airline and therefore it will be pointless to expect luxurious in-flight amenities from them. The airline does not serve any food or provide entertainment options to its passengers which in our opinion is a good thing. Airline works to provide the cheapest ticket and serve on it.

3.      Spirit Airlines’ Pilots know what they are doing

We have heard some crazy stories of how on an airline, the pilots did a terrible job at taking off and landing the plane. But this is not the case with Spirit’s pilots. Passengers have commented that the take off and landing was super smooth and they hardly felt any jerk throughout the flight. This is a great news especially for passengers who are afraid of flying.

4.      Plane’s take -off time on paper and in real life is same

One of most annoying things passengers have to go through is delayed flights. While sometimes it is beyond an airline’s control when delays and cancellations happen, it nonetheless can make or break an airline’s reputation.

Spirit however has surprised everyone with their on-time arrivals and departures. Passengers did not expect such good service from Spirit and therefore were raving about it on social media.

5.      Cabin crew pays attention to the passengers especially children

While flying is stressful for everyone, it’s the children who feel the most stressed. Sitting among strangers in an unfamiliar environment can make them anxious. There are some airlines who are loved for the way they treat little passengers.

Spirit has secured a place in that list. Passengers have narrat3d incidents where their little ones were comforted by the kind gestures of the cabin crew of Spirit Airlines.
